About Me

My name is Samara. I am a professional Colombian dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor based in Sydney. My work spans private classes, wedding choreography, cultural events and dance shows, school programmes, classes for older adults, and dance fusions across Salsa, Chirimia, and other Latin and Colombian traditions.

My work is built around one idea: music becomes a channel for expression, connection and joy.

PSICOSOMA

Spanish-speaking women's movement circle

A monthly community-based space for wellbeing and emotional regulation through movement. PSICOSOMA blends music, embodied awareness, and gentle group process to help you release tension, organise emotions, and reconnect with yourself β€” held in community, support, and listening.

Who it's for:

  • Spanish-speaking migrant women who want a consistent place to land and recharge
  • Women wanting stress relief, reconnection, and embodied confidence
  • People who benefit from community support but prefer movement over talking-only formats

Safety & Culture:

  • Consent-first: you always choose your level of participation
  • Trauma-aware pacing: options for low intensity, eyes-open, or seated movement
  • No performance pressure: the goal is regulation and expression
  • Confidentiality norms: for any personal sharing
